With the rapidly changing financial markets and increasing demands for professional knowledge and integrity among financial practitioners, the Hong Kong Gold Exchange (“Exchange”) has established a “Registration System” to address the market’s growing expectations for industry professionals’qualifications. Under this system, all managers, traders, and account executives appointed by Exchange members must be registered with the Exchange to conduct business related to Exchange trading products.
Registration category
Responsible Managers  Responsible Managers are registered personnel primarily responsible for supervising the gold and silver business of the members they certify. In any communication between the company and shareholders on compliance matters, they should act as representatives of the shareholders..
Registered Exchange 
Traders		 Registered Exchange Traders are authorized by the company to engage in trading any products or their derivative rights traded on the exchange. 
Registered Account 
Executives 

Registered Account Executives are authorized by the company to: 
● Act as agents for member clients to buy and sell any products or their derivative rights traded on the exchange; and 
● Participate in the promotion or marketing of any products or their derivative rights traded on the exchange.
